  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

  • Make the cinnamon sugar filling – Mix melted butter, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt. Chill for 5 minutes.
  • Prepare the dough – Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, then mix in dry ingredients until combined.
  • Layer the filling – Flatten half of the dough, add cinnamon filling, and fold gently to create streaks. Repeat with the remaining dough.
  • Form the cookies – Scoop dough balls onto a baking sheet and freeze for 10 minutes.
  • Bake – Preheat oven to 350°F and bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
