  • Diet: Halal

Description

These melted Swiss chicken and ham sliders are layered with juicy chicken, savory ham, and creamy Swiss cheese, all drizzled in a tangy honey mustard poppy seed sauce. Perfectly portable and ready in under 40 minutes, they’re ideal for family dinners, game days, or easy meal prep.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Sauce:

  • ½ teaspoon honey

  • ½ teaspoon Dijon mustard

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise

  • ⅛ teaspoon poppy seeds

For the Sliders:

  • 1 lb cooked chicken breast, sliced

  • ½ lb Virginia ham, thinly sliced

  • 8 slices Swiss cheese

  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted and divided

  • 8 slider rolls (34 inch diameter), sliced in half

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • Whisk together sauce ingredients; refrigerate.

  • Brush 1 tbsp melted butter on rolls, wrap in foil, and warm in oven for 5–10 mins.

  • Stack sliced chicken, ham, and Swiss cheese into 8 stacks.

  • Melt 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium heat. Place stacks in skillet, cover, and heat for 1–2 mins to melt cheese.

  • Spread sauce on both halves of rolls.

  • Place stacks onto bottom buns, top with roll lids, and serve hot.

Notes

  • For best results, use freshly cooked or rotisserie chicken.

  • Add extra Dijon for a bolder flavor.

  • Rolls can be lightly toasted on the inside before assembly for extra texture.

  • Sliders reheat well—wrap in foil and warm in the oven.
