This Sweet Chili Chicken is crispy, sticky, and packed with bold flavors. Tossed in a sweet and spicy sauce, this dish is better than takeout and easy to make in just 30 minutes. Serve over rice, noodles, or in lettuce wraps for a quick and delicious meal.

- 1 ½ lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- ½ cup cornstarch
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
For the Sauce:
- ⅓ cup honey
- ¼ cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (for thickening)
Garnish:
- Chopped green onions
- Toasted sesame seeds
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Toss chicken pieces in cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat and cook chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, mix honey, sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, garlic, and lime juice. Let simmer for 2 minutes.
- Stir in the cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce.
- Return chicken to the pan and coat in the sauce.
- Garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, and red pepper flakes. Serve hot.

- Adjust spice level by adding or reducing red pepper flakes.
- For extra crispiness, fry the chicken twice.
