Elegant and naturally sweet, these Strawberry Meringue Roses are made with freeze-dried strawberries for a light, fruity treat. Perfect for any special occasion!


Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp powdered freeze-dried strawberries
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg white (room temperature)
  • A pinch of salt
  • ⅛ tsp cream of tartar
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional: Edible pearl sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 225°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Blend freeze-dried strawberries into a fine powder and mix with sugar.
  • Beat egg white, salt, and cream of tartar until frothy. Gradually add strawberry sugar, beating until stiff peaks form.
  • Fold in vanilla extract and transfer meringue to a piping bag with a star tip.
  • Pipe roses onto the baking sheet and bake for 45 minutes.
  • Turn off the oven and cool meringues inside for 1 hour.
  • Decorate with sprinkles or serve as-is.
