- 1 tbsp powdered freeze-dried strawberries
- 3 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 large egg white (room temperature)
- A pinch of salt
- ⅛ tsp cream of tartar
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
- Optional: Edible pearl sprinkles for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 225°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Blend freeze-dried strawberries into a fine powder and mix with sugar.
- Beat egg white, salt, and cream of tartar until frothy. Gradually add strawberry sugar, beating until stiff peaks form.
- Fold in vanilla extract and transfer meringue to a piping bag with a star tip.
- Pipe roses onto the baking sheet and bake for 45 minutes.
- Turn off the oven and cool meringues inside for 1 hour.
- Decorate with sprinkles or serve as-is.
