Description

Soft bread, creamy strawberry-flavored cheese, and juicy fresh strawberries come together in this no-bake, crowd-pleasing tea sandwich recipe. Perfect for brunch, parties, lunchboxes, or a sweet afternoon snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 slices fresh white bread (or your choice of bread: wheat, rye, pumpernickel)

  • 1214 oz strawberry cream cheese, softened

  • 68 fresh strawberries, thinly sliced

Instructions

  • Lay out bread slices and trim crusts if desired.

  • Spread each slice with softened strawberry cream cheese.

  • Use a 3-inch cookie cutter to cut shapes or slice into triangles/squares.

  • Layer strawberry slices over cream cheese.

  • For open-faced, top all slices. For closed sandwiches, top 6 slices and press remaining bread over them.

  • Serve immediately or chill for 10–15 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use plain cream cheese mixed with fresh strawberries if flavored cream cheese is unavailable.

  • Dry strawberries thoroughly to prevent sogginess.

  • Sandwiches are best served fresh but can be stored for up to 24 hours in the fridge.
