Description

Quick, chewy, and bursting with berry flavor, these strawberry cake mix brownies are made with just 4 ingredients and an optional creamy strawberry glaze.


Ingredients

  • 1 box strawberry cake mix (Pillsbury recommended)

  • 2 large eggs

  • ⅓ cup vegetable or canola oil

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional Strawberry Glaze:

  • ¾ cup powdered sugar

  • 2 tablespoons strawberry preserves

  • 1½ tablespoons milk

  • 1 tablespoon cream cheese (optional)


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease or line an 8×8” pan with parchment paper.

  • In a large bowl, mix cake mix, eggs, oil, and vanilla until fully combined.

  • Press batter evenly into prepared pan.

  • Bake for 18–22 minutes, until just set. Let cool completely.

  • For glaze: whisk powdered sugar, preserves, milk, and cream cheese until smooth. Spread over cooled brownies and let set before slicing.

Notes

  • Do not overbake—check at 18 minutes for best fudgy texture.

  • Freeze without glaze for longer storage.

  • Add-ins like white chocolate chips or freeze-dried strawberries work great!
