Ingredients

1 box strawberry cake mix (Pillsbury recommended)

2 large eggs

⅓ cup vegetable or canola oil

1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional Strawberry Glaze:

¾ cup powdered sugar

2 tablespoons strawberry preserves

1½ tablespoons milk

1 tablespoon cream cheese (optional)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease or line an 8×8” pan with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, mix cake mix, eggs, oil, and vanilla until fully combined.

Press batter evenly into prepared pan.

Bake for 18–22 minutes, until just set. Let cool completely.

For glaze: whisk powdered sugar, preserves, milk, and cream cheese until smooth. Spread over cooled brownies and let set before slicing.
