For the Brownies:
- 1 box strawberry cake mix
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup diced fresh strawberries
For the Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Dice the strawberries into small pieces.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Add cake mix to the wet ingredients and mix until smooth.
- Fold in the diced strawberries gently with a spatula.
- Pour batter into a lined 8×8 or 9×9-inch baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let cool completely before adding the glaze.
- Make the glaze by whisking together powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
- Drizzle glaze over the brownies and spread evenly.
- Slice into squares and garnish with heart-shaped strawberries.
