For the Brownies:
  • 1 box strawberry cake mix
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup diced fresh strawberries
For the Glaze:
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Dice the strawberries into small pieces.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until combined.
  • Add cake mix to the wet ingredients and mix until smooth.
  • Fold in the diced strawberries gently with a spatula.
  • Pour batter into a lined 8×8 or 9×9-inch baking pan and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Let cool completely before adding the glaze.
  • Make the glaze by whisking together powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
  • Drizzle glaze over the brownies and spread evenly.
  • Slice into squares and garnish with heart-shaped strawberries.
  • Serve & enjoy!

  • For extra fudgy brownies, reduce the baking time by 2-3 minutes.
