Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix

  • 2 cups cold milk

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced

  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced

  • 1 box (about 12 oz) vanilla wafers

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, whisk the pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes until thick.

  • Stir in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract.

  • In another bowl, whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks.

  • Gently fold whipped cream into the pudding mixture until smooth.

  • In a trifle dish or 9×13 pan, layer vanilla wafers, sliced bananas, sliced strawberries, and half the pudding mixture.

  • Repeat the layers and top with remaining pudding.

  • Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.

  • Garnish with extra fruit or crushed wafers before serving.

Notes

  • Toss banana slices in lemon juice to prevent browning.

  • Chill overnight for best flavor and soft texture in wafers.

  • Can substitute Cool Whip for whipped cream if short on time.

  • Ideal for make-ahead entertaining.
