Description
A light, fluffy no-bake dessert layered with creamy whipped topping, rich cream cheese, angel food cake, and a glossy strawberry glaze.
Ingredients

1 angel food cake, torn into 1-inch pieces

1 (16 oz) container Cool Whip, thawed

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup sugar, divided

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 quart fresh strawberries, sliced

3 tbsp cornstarch

1 (3 oz) package strawberry Jell-O

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 cup water
Instructions

In a saucepan, combine ½ cup sugar, cornstarch, Jell-O, lemon juice, and water. Stir over medium heat until thickened. Cool slightly.

Fold sliced strawberries into cooled glaze.

Tear angel food cake into chunks. Mix with 2 cups Cool Whip and press into baking dish.

Beat cream cheese with remaining sugar and vanilla. Fold in remaining Cool Whip. Spread over cake layer.

Spoon glazed strawberries over cream layer.

Refrigerate for 2–3 hours or until fully set.

Let the glaze cool before topping to avoid melting the cream layer.
