  • 1 (16 oz) package frozen pierogies (potato & cheese)
  • 1 lb kielbasa, sliced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • Chopped parsley (for garnish)
  • Crumbled turkey bacon (optional)

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté kielbasa and onions until browned. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  • In a bowl, whisk together sour cream, chicken broth, shredded cheddar, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
  • Layer frozen pierogies in the slow cooker. Add kielbasa and onions on top. Pour the cheese sauce over everything and stir gently.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 3-4 hours until hot and creamy.
  • Stir before serving and garnish with parsley and crispy turkey bacon.
