Description

This creamy slow cooker recipe combines cheese tortellini, lean turkey sausage, spinach, and a velvety cheese sauce for a rich, satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • Lean Turkey Sausage: 1 pound, crumbled
  • Frozen Cheese Tortellini: 19 ounces
  • Baby Spinach Leaves: 3 cups
  • Diced Tomatoes: 2 cans (14.5 ounces each), drained
  • Chicken Broth: 3½ cups
  • Salt: ½ teaspoon
  • Black Pepper: ¼ teaspoon
  • Italian Seasoning: 1 teaspoon
  • Cream Cheese: 8 ounces, cubed
  • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese: 1 cup

Instructions

  • Brown sausage and drain grease.
  • Grease slow cooker, layer tortellini, sausage, spinach, tomatoes, chicken broth, and seasonings.
  • Add cream cheese cubes. Cook on low for 5 hours or high for 3–4 hours, stirring occasionally.
  • Top with mozzarella and let sit uncovered for 15–20 minutes.
