  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)

  • 2 packets chicken gravy mix (about 1 oz each)

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup (or cream of mushroom)

  • 1 1/2 cups low-sodium chicken broth

  • 1 tsp garlic powder (optional, for extra flavor)

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder (optional)

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • Chopped parsley (for garnish, optional)


Instructions

  • Prepare the Crockpot: Spray the crockpot with non-stick spray or lightly oil it. Place chicken breasts in the bottom.

  • Make Gravy Mixture: In a medium bowl, whisk together gravy mix, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.

  • Cook the Chicken: Pour gravy mixture over the chicken. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.

  • Shred & Serve: Shred chicken directly in the crockpot or serve whole. Stir well to combine with the gravy.

  • Garnish & Enjoy: Sprinkle with parsley and serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or biscuits.

Notes

  • For thicker gravy, mix 1 tbsp cornstarch with 2 tbsp water and add during the last 15 minutes of cooking.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.

  • Reheat gently on the stovetop, in the microwave, or in the oven.
