Description

Skillet nachos are a quick and easy one-pan snack or appetizer loaded with layers of melty cheese, tortilla chips, black beans, and fresh toppings like avocado and tomatoes. Perfect for game nights, parties, or a cozy snack on the couch!


Ingredients

  • 1 large bag of tortilla chips
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a blend)
  • 1 cup black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, diced
  • 1 small red onion, finely chopped
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
  • Jalapeño slices (optional)
  • ½ cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup salsa

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In an oven-safe skillet, layer tortilla chips, shredded cheese, black beans, tomatoes, red onions, and jalapeños. Repeat until ingredients are used up, finishing with cheese on top.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from oven and add avocado, sour cream, cilantro, and salsa.
