Ingredients

1½ lbs sirloin tips, cubed

3 tbsp flour

3 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp brown sugar

½ tsp each: salt, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, paprika

¼ tsp black pepper
 - 
2 tbsp butter
 - 
1 small yellow onion, diced
 - 
3 garlic cloves, minced
 - 
2 cups beef broth
 - 
1 beef bouillon cube
 - 
1½ tsp Worcestershire sauce (halal)
 - 
¼ tsp each: dried thyme, rosemary
 - 
1 tsp onion powder
 - 
½ tsp garlic powder
 - 
3 tbsp cornstarch + ¼ cup cold water (for slurry)
 
Instructions
- 
Season beef with spice mix and coat with flour.
 - 
Brown beef in olive oil in batches; remove and set aside.
 - 
Sauté onion and garlic in butter.
 - 
Add broth, bouillon, Worcestershire, and spices; simmer.
 - 
Return beef to pan; simmer 20–25 mins.
 - 
Stir in cornstarch slurry to thicken.
 - 
Let rest 5 mins before serving.
