- 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 pound ground sausage (beef or turkey)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cook Sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned, breaking into crumbles (7–10 minutes). Drain excess grease.
- Prepare Filling: Combine cooked sausage with softened cream cheese. Stir in cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Assemble Crescents: Unroll crescent roll dough into triangles. Place a tablespoon of filling on the wide end of each triangle. Roll up from the wide end to the point.
- Bake: Place crescents on a baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve: Let cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
