Description

These Rotel Cream Cheese Sausage Balls are cheesy, savory, and slightly spicy, making them the perfect party appetizer, breakfast snack, or meal prep option. They are easy to make with just a handful of ingredients and can be prepared ahead of time for convenience.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey or pork sausage
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (10 oz) Rotel, drained
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups Bisquick mix
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Drain Rotel to remove excess liquid.
  • Mix ingredients in a large bowl until well combined.
  • Roll mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on the baking sheet.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use hot Rotel for extra spice.
  • To freeze, place uncooked sausage balls on a tray, freeze, then transfer to a bag.
