- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp dried Italian seasoning
- 8 slices of bread (white, sourdough, or whole wheat)
- 12 slices mozzarella cheese
- 6 oz turkey or beef pepperoni
- ½ cup warm pizza sauce (for dipping)
Instructions
- Mix butter, Parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning to make the garlic butter spread.
- Spread the butter mixture on one side of each bread slice.
- Place one slice of bread (butter-side down) in a skillet over medium-low heat.
- Layer cheese, pepperoni, and another slice of cheese, then top with another buttered bread slice.
- Cover and cook for 3-5 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook for another 3-5 minutes.
- Serve hot with pizza sauce for dipping.
