  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water

Instructions

  • Marinate beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, sesame oil, and black pepper for 15 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a skillet, stir-fry bell peppers and onion for 3-4 minutes, then remove.
  • Sear beef in the skillet for 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
  • Whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and beef broth. Pour into the skillet.
  • Add cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce. Stir in vegetables and mix well.
  • Serve hot over rice or noodles.
