These oven baked BBQ chicken drumsticks are crispy, juicy, and coated in a sweet and smoky BBQ glaze. Perfect for easy weeknight dinners, meal prep, or family gatherings.
Ingredients

8 chicken drumsticks (about 2–2.5 lbs)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite kind)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.

Pat drumsticks dry with paper towels.

Toss drumsticks with olive oil and all the spices in a large bowl.

Arrange on the rack and bake for 25 minutes.

Remove from oven, brush generously with BBQ sauce.

Return to oven for another 15–20 minutes until internal temp reaches 165°F.

Optional: Broil for 2–3 minutes for a sticky glaze.

Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
