This Oreo Dirt Cake is a creamy, chocolatey layered dessert that’s a hit for all occasions. With crushed Oreos, pudding, and a rich chocolate cake base, it’s a guaranteed crowd-pleaser!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 package Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 1 jar hot fudge sauce
  • 2 packages instant chocolate pudding mix (3.4 oz each)
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 container Cool Whip (thawed)

Instructions

  • Prepare and bake the chocolate cake according to package instructions in a 9×13-inch pan. Let it cool for 10 minutes.
  • Poke holes in the warm cake and pour warmed hot fudge sauce evenly over the top. Let it cool completely.
  • Mix 1 pudding packet with 2 cups of milk and pour over the cooled cake. Chill for 20 minutes.
  • Combine the second pudding packet with 2 cups of milk. Let it set, then fold in Cool Whip and ¾ of the crushed Oreos.
  • Spread the pudding-Cool Whip mixture over the cake and top with remaining Oreos. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
