Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup neutral oil for frying
- Two (16-ounce) containers of bocconcini (mini mozzarella balls)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1½ cups breadcrumbs
- Salt to taste

Instructions
- Heat oil in a pot over medium heat until it reaches 360–370°F.
- Drain bocconcini and pat dry with paper towels.
- Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs. Coat each mozzarella ball in flour, egg, and breadcrumbs. Repeat for double coating if desired.
- Fry breaded mozzarella balls in small batches for 2–3 minutes until golden.
- Drain on a paper towel-lined plate, sprinkle with salt, garnish with parsley, and serve warm with marinara sauce.
Notes
- Ensure the mozzarella balls are completely dry to prevent oil splattering.
- Double coat for extra crunch.
- Use a thermometer to maintain the oil temperature for even frying.
