Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp red wine vinegar

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • 1 tsp honey

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 2 tsp dried oregano

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp ground paprika

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs


Instructions

  • Whisk together all marinade ingredients in a bowl.

  • Pound chicken to even thickness.

  • Place chicken in a zip-top bag or dish, add marinade, massage gently.

  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes to 48 hours.

  • Let chicken come to room temperature 20 minutes before cooking.

  • Cook chicken using desired method:

    • Grill: 2–4 minutes per side

    • Stovetop: 5–8 minutes per side

    • Oven: 400°F for 18–20 minutes

  • Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
