- 1 lb shrimp (peeled & deveined)
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes (chopped)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 8 oz pasta (linguine, fettuccine, or penne)
- Fresh basil or parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
- Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook shrimp for 2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic and sun-dried tomatoes.
- Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, and lemon juice. Simmer for 3-4 minutes.
- Add cooked pasta and shrimp to the sauce, tossing to coat. Use reserved pasta water to adjust consistency.
- Serve with fresh basil or parsley and extra Parmesan cheese.

- For extra spice, increase red pepper flakes.
- Substitute chicken for shrimp if desired.
