Marry Me Chicken is a creamy, flavorful chicken dish made with juicy seared chicken breasts, a rich Parmesan cream sauce, and sun-dried tomatoes. Ingredients
- Chicken: 3 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Seasoning: Salt & black pepper, to taste
- Oil: 2 tbsp olive oil (or sun-dried tomato oil)
- Aromatics: 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
- Liquid: ¾ cup chicken broth
- Dairy: ½ cup heavy cream, ⅓ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Flavor: ½-1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, 1 tsp dried oregano, ½ tsp red pepper flakes
- Garnish: Fresh basil, chiffonade
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and season chicken with salt & pepper.
- Sear chicken in a skillet over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic, then deglaze with chicken broth, scraping up the browned bits.
- Remove from heat and stir in heavy cream and Parmesan until smooth.
- Return to low heat and add sun-dried tomatoes, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add the chicken back to the skillet, spooning sauce over the top.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with fresh basil. Serve hot.
