- For the Pasta:
- 8 oz dried pasta (spaghetti, penne, or fettuccine)
- For the Chicken and Sauce:
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ cup onion, finely chopped
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 lb chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
- ½ tsp EACH: Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, salt, pepper
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta in salted water according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté onions and garlic until fragrant.
- Add butter and chicken to the skillet. Season with Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until the chicken is browned and fully cooked.
- Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, cooking until the sauce thickens.
- Add sun-dried tomatoes and cooked pasta, tossing to coat evenly.
- Garnish with basil leaves and serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust spice levels by altering the amount of red pepper flakes.
- Reserve some pasta water to adjust sauce consistency, if needed.
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor and texture.
