- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 lemons, zested and juiced

- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- Remaining lemon zest
Instructions
- Preheat Oven:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with foil and spray with cooking spray.
- Prepare the Crust:
- Unroll one package of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the baking dish.
- Make the Filling:
- In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese, ½ cup sugar, lemon juice, and zest until smooth. Spread evenly over the crust.
- Add the Top Layer:
- Unroll the second package of crescent roll dough and place it over the filling. Brush with melted butter.
- Add Topping:
- Mix 3 tablespoons sugar with remaining lemon zest and sprinkle over the top.
- Bake:
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool for 20 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Serve:
- Cut into squares and enjoy!
