  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 lemons, zested and juiced

For the Topping:

  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • Remaining lemon zest

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with foil and spray with cooking spray.
  • Prepare the Crust:
    • Unroll one package of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the baking dish.
  • Make the Filling:
    • In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese, ½ cup sugar, lemon juice, and zest until smooth. Spread evenly over the crust.
  • Add the Top Layer:
    • Unroll the second package of crescent roll dough and place it over the filling. Brush with melted butter.
  • Add Topping:
    • Mix 3 tablespoons sugar with remaining lemon zest and sprinkle over the top.
  • Bake:
    • Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool for 20 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Serve:
