- 2 King’s Hawaiian Savory Butter Rolls
- 4 oz deli-sliced ham
- 4 oz deli-sliced salami
- 4 oz deli-sliced pepperoni
- 4 oz provolone cheese
- 1 cup chopped lettuce
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped dill pickles
- 1/4 cup banana peppers, chopped
- 2 tbsp mayo (plus extra for spreading)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 3 tbsp butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the rolls horizontally to separate the tops from the bottoms and place the bottom layer in a baking dish.
- Spread mayo over the bottom rolls and bake for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Chop the deli meats and heat them in a skillet for 2-3 minutes.
- Layer provolone cheese over the toasted rolls, add the warmed deli meats, and cover with the top layer of rolls.
- Mix melted butter with Italian seasoning and brush over the top of the rolls.
- Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes, then uncover and bake for 5 more minutes until golden.
- Toss lettuce, red onion, pickles, banana peppers, mayo, olive oil, vinegar, and Italian seasoning in a bowl.
- Remove the top buns, spread the salad topping evenly, replace the buns, slice, and serve warm.
