These bite-sized salmon pieces are air-fried or baked, then tossed in a delicious buttery hot honey glaze. Serve them over rice, in tacos, or as a protein-packed meal prep option.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Salmon Bites:

  • lbs salmon (cut into 1-inch cubes, skin removed)
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

For the Hot Honey Glaze:

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup hot honey
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prepare the salmon: Cut salmon into bite-sized cubes and pat dry. Toss with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Cook (Air Fryer): Preheat to 390°F. Place salmon in a single layer and air fry for 9-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway.
  • Cook (Oven): Preheat to 400°F. Arrange salmon on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 15-16 minutes, flipping halfway.
  • Make the glaze: Melt butter in a saucepan, stir in hot honey, red pepper flakes, and lemon juice. Warm for 1-2 minutes.
  • Toss & serve: Coat salmon bites in the hot honey glaze, garnish with parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
  • Best served fresh but can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Serve with rice, quinoa, salad, or tacos for a complete meal.
