- For the Salmon:
- 1 ½ lbs salmon, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ¾ tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 3 tbsp olive oil (divided)
- 2 tsp garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- For the Sauce:
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 tsp sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
- 2 tsp chopped chives (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Pat salmon cubes dry and season with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook salmon cubes for 4–5 minutes, flipping occasionally, until golden and crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic and ginger with the remaining olive oil for 1 minute. Add soy sauce, rice vinegar, and honey, then simmer for 3–5 minutes until thickened.
- Toss the cooked salmon in the sauce to coat evenly. Serve with sesame seeds and chives as garnish.
Notes
- For spicier bites, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- Ensure the salmon is dry before cooking for the crispiest texture.
