- 2 cups hot water
- Topping:

Instructions
- Combine yeast, warm water, and brown sugar; let it rest for 5–10 minutes.
- Add vanilla, flour, and salt. Knead the dough until smooth and let it rise for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and mix the baking soda with hot water.
- Divide the dough into 12–15 portions, roll into ropes, and wrap around hot dogs.
- Dip each wrapped hot dog into the baking soda mixture, sprinkle with salt, and bake for 7–9 minutes or until golden.
- Serve warm with dipping sauces like mustard or cheese dip.
