    • 1⅓ cups all-purpose flour
    • ⅔ cup milk
    • 3 tbsp melted butter
    • 1 egg
    • 1½ tsp baking powder
    • 2½ tbsp maple syrup
    • Pinch of salt
  • Sausage:
    • 1 lb ground breakfast sausage
  • Eggs:
    • 6 large eggs
    • 1 cup milk
    • ½ tsp garlic powder
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • 4 tbsp butter
  • Optional Additions:
    • 8 slices bacon
    • 4 slices cheese (cheddar or American)

Instructions

  1. Make the Pancakes: Mix pancake ingredients until smooth. Cook small pancakes (3 tbsp batter each) in a skillet for 2 minutes per side.
  2. Prepare the Sausage: Shape ground sausage into patties and cook in a skillet over medium heat for 3 minutes per side.
  3. Cook the Eggs: Whisk eggs, milk, and seasonings. Cook thin omelets, fold into squares, and set aside.
  4. Assemble the Sandwiches: Layer pancakes, sausage, eggs, cheese, and bacon (if using). Top with another pancake.

Notes

  • For authentic McGriddle flavor, don’t skip the maple syrup in the pancakes.
  • Sausage patties can be swapped for turkey sausage or plant-based alternatives.
  • Use pre-cooked bacon to save time.
