Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp dried thyme

  • ½ tsp dried basil

  • ¼ cup honey

  • 2 tbsp melted butter

  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard

  • 1 tbsp wholegrain mustard

  • 2 tsp hot sauce (optional)

  • ½ tsp white vinegar

  • ⅛ tsp paprika


Instructions

  • Preheat grill to 425–450°F.

  • Season chicken with spices.

  • Whisk all sauce ingredients until smooth.

  • Reserve ¼ of sauce for basting.

  • Lightly oil grill grates.

  • Grill chicken 2 minutes per side to sear.

  • Baste, close lid, cook 7 minutes.

  • Flip, baste again, cook uncovered 5–6 more minutes (internal temp: 165°F).

  • Rest chicken 8 minutes. Slice and serve with dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Use a meat thermometer for perfect doneness.

  • Pound thick chicken for even cooking.

  • Sauce can be made ahead and stored for 1 week.
