This creamy and refreshing Grape Salad combines juicy green and purple grapes coated in a rich, sweet cream cheese dressing, topped with crunchy pecans and brown sugar. It’s an easy, crowd-pleasing dessert or side dish perfect for gatherings and special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale

Fruit:

  • 2 pounds seedless green grapes (washed and dried)

  • 2 pounds seedless purple grapes (washed and dried)

Creamy Dressing:

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened to room temperature

  • 1 (8 oz) container sour cream

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Toppings:

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (firmly packed)

  • 1/2 cup pecans (finely chopped)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Grapes: Wash and thoroughly dry the grapes. Place them in a 9×13-inch baking dish or large serving bowl.

  • Make the Dressing: In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix well using an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.

  • Combine Dressing and Grapes: Pour the creamy mixture over the grapes. Gently stir to coat all grapes evenly.

  • Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (preferably 2–4 hours).

  • Add Toppings: Just before serving, sprinkle brown sugar and chopped pecans evenly over the top.

  • Serve & Enjoy: Scoop into individual bowls or serve straight from the dish.

Notes

  • To keep the topping crunchy, sprinkle it on just before serving.

  • For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of cinnamon to the topping mixture.

  • Can be made up to 24 hours in advance.
