Description

This glazed spiral ham is coated with a sticky, golden glaze made from peach preserves, orange juice, fresh ginger, and garlic. It’s juicy, full of flavor, and perfect for holidays, special occasions, or family dinners. Super easy and always a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (7–9 lb) spiral-sliced ham

  • 3/4 cup peach preserves (Bonne Maman recommended)

  • 1/3 cup orange juice

  • 1-inch chunk fresh ginger, peeled and sliced thinly

  • 1 garlic clove, sliced thinly

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • In a saucepan, combine peach preserves, orange juice, ginger, and garlic. Stir over medium heat until bubbling. Simmer for 5 minutes.

  • Place the ham in a roasting pan. Brush generously with the glaze, getting between the slices.

  • Bake for 1½ hours, basting every 30 minutes with remaining glaze and pan juices.

  • Optional: Broil for 2-3 minutes at the end for extra caramelization.

  • Let rest for 10–15 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For halal diets, use halal-certified spiral ham (such as turkey or beef-based).

  • The glaze can be made 2–3 days in advance and refrigerated.

  • Save the bone for soup or broth!
