- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 1 lb potato gnocchi
- 6 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried Italian herbs
- Salt and black pepper (to taste)
- Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken, season with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs, and cook until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds.
- Pour in chicken broth, scrape up any browned bits, and bring to a simmer.
- Add gnocchi and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Reduce heat, pour in heavy cream, and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese, return the chicken to the skillet, and mix well.
- Garnish with fresh basil and extra Parmesan before serving.

- For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
