Ingredients

  • 4 Egg Whites (room temperature)

  • 1 cup Sugar (granulated)

  • 1/2 teaspoon Cream of Tartar


Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat to 225°F (107°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

  • Prepare Meringue: In a clean mixing bowl, add egg whites, salt, and cream of tartar. Beat on medium speed until soft peaks form.

  • Add Sugar and Jello Powder: Gradually add sugar, then Jello powder, one tablespoon at a time, beating continuously.

  • Beat to Stiff Peaks: Continue beating until stiff, glossy peaks form.

  • Pipe Cookies: Transfer mixture to a piping bag fitted with a 1M star tip. Pipe rosettes or desired shapes onto prepared baking sheets.

  • Bake: Bake for 1 hour.

  • Cool and Dry: Turn off the oven and leave cookies inside for at least 1 hour without opening the door.
