Description

A cheesy, crispy, and hearty tater tot casserole made with seasoned ground beef, creamy mushroom sauce, veggies, and gooey melted cheddar. Perfect for family dinners or meal prep!


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • Optional toppings: Chopped green onions, crispy turkey bacon bits, sour cream

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
  • Add diced onion and garlic; sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  • Stir in cream of mushroom soup, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix in frozen vegetables and let simmer for a minute.
  • Transfer mixture to baking dish and sprinkle with 1 cup of cheese.
  • Arrange tater tots in a single layer on top.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  • Sprinkle remaining cheese and bake for another 5 minutes until melted.
  • Garnish with green onions or turkey bacon bits and serve hot!
