Ingredients
- Olive Oil: 1–2 tablespoons
- Ground Beef: 1 pound
- Onion: 1 large, diced
- Garlic: 4 cloves, minced
- Diced Tomatoes: 1 can (15 ounces)
- Tomato Sauce: 1 can (15 ounces)
- Tomato Paste: 3 ounces (about ¼ cup)
- Chicken Broth: 4 cups
- Water: 1–2 cups (adjust consistency)
- Italian Seasoning: 1 tablespoon
- Sea Salt: 1 teaspoon (or to taste)
- Black Pepper: To taste
- Bowtie Pasta: 8 ounces, uncooked
- Ricotta Cheese: ½ cup
- Mozzarella Cheese: 2 ounces, shredded (about ½ cup)
- Parmesan Cheese: ¼ cup, grated
- Fresh Parsley: ¼ cup, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Sauté ground beef, onion, and garlic until the meat is browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, chicken broth, and water. Add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
- Add the bowtie pasta. Reduce heat and simmer for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is al dente.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
- Ladle the soup into bowls, top with the cheese mixture, and garnish with fresh parsley.
