  • 1 lb ground beef (or canned ground beef/venison)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of broccoli soup
  • 1 pint dehydrated shredded potatoes, rehydrated
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • If using fresh ground beef, cook until browned and drain excess fat.
  • Rehydrate shredded potatoes by soaking in warm water for 15 minutes. Drain.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, both soups, rehydrated potatoes, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the mixture into an 11×7-inch baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Top with shredded cheese.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

  • For extra crispiness, broil the casserole for 2-3 minutes after baking.

  • Use homemade “cream of” soup for a healthier alternative.
