Ingredients
Scale
- 4 large potatoes (or 500g frozen fries)
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp chili powder (optional)
- 100g grated cheddar cheese
- 100g turkey bacon, chopped and cooked
- 100ml sour cream (or plain yogurt)
- 2 spring onions, finely chopped
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Prep fresh potatoes by cutting them into fries. Soak in water for 30 minutes, then dry. For frozen fries, skip this step.
- Toss fries with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, chili powder, and salt. Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 30-40 minutes or fry until golden.
- Cook turkey bacon until crispy, then chop. Grate cheese and chop toppings.
- Assemble fries on a tray, top with cheese, and broil for 3-5 minutes until melted.
- Add turkey bacon, drizzle sour cream, and garnish with spring onions and parsley. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Add toppings like jalapeños or diced tomatoes for variety.
- For a vegetarian option, use roasted vegetables instead of turkey bacon.
