Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 cup salsa (mild or spicy)
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • Juice of 1 lime

Instructions

  • Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Sprinkle with taco seasoning, garlic, and onions.
  • Pour in salsa and chicken broth. Squeeze in fresh lime juice.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 6-7 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours until chicken is tender.
  • Shred the chicken with two forks and mix it with the juices in the slow cooker.
  • Warm tortillas and fill them with shredded chicken. Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!
