- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp taco seasoning
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 cup salsa (mild or spicy)
- ½ cup chicken broth
- Juice of 1 lime
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Sprinkle with taco seasoning, garlic, and onions.
- Pour in salsa and chicken broth. Squeeze in fresh lime juice.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6-7 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours until chicken is tender.
- Shred the chicken with two forks and mix it with the juices in the slow cooker.
