Description

This crispy toasted ravioli recipe is a quick and easy appetizer that’s crunchy on the outside, cheesy on the inside, and perfect for dipping in marinara sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 (10-12 oz) package fresh or frozen cheese ravioli
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 1 cup marinara sauce (for serving)
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk eggs and milk. In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  • Dip each ravioli into the egg mixture, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry ravioli in batches for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown.
  • Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
  • Serve immediately with warm marinara sauce and garnish with parsley.

Notes

  • To bake: Place coated ravioli on a baking sheet, spray with cooking oil, and bake at 400°F for 12-15 minutes.
  • To air fry: Air fry at 375°F for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway.
  • Use meat or spinach ravioli for variety.
