Ingredients
Scale
- 20 slices of salami (about 1 lb)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (or panko for extra crunch)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Cooking oil spray or light olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) or the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Pat the salami slices dry with a paper towel.
- Set up three bowls for the coating process:
- Bowl 1: Mix flour, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
- Bowl 2: Beat the eggs until smooth.
- Bowl 3: Combine breadcrumbs with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Coat each salami slice: Dip in flour, then egg, then roll in the breadcrumb-cheese mixture.
- Place coated slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet or in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each slice.

- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch, marinara, or spicy mayo.
