- Pickles: 12 pickle spears (or 3 large pickles quartered lengthwise)
- Batter:
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon dried dill
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons hot sauce (optional)
- ½ cup cold water
- Breadcrumb Coating: 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Slice pickles into spears if needed and pat dry.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, cornstarch, spices, hot sauce, and water into a smooth batter.
- Coat pickles in batter, then roll in Panko breadcrumbs.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and spray with oil.
- Place pickles in the air fryer, leaving space between them. Air fry for 10 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Serve hot with dipping sauces like ranch, sriracha, or honey dill.
