For the Chicken:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt & black pepper (to taste)
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
For the Creamy Garlic Mushroom Sauce:
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 ½ cups mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season the Chicken: Sprinkle chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Sear the Chicken: Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet. Cook chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- Make the Sauce: In the same pan, sauté garlic and mushrooms for 3-4 minutes. Pour in heavy cream, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and lemon juice. Stir well.
- Combine: Return chicken to the pan, coat with sauce, and simmer for 5 minutes until fully cooked.
- Serve: Garnish with parsley and serve with rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes.
