  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened, cut into chunks)

  • 2 large chicken breasts (halved into 4 cutlets)

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • ½ medium onion, chopped

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • ¾ cup chicken broth

  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning

  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes

  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

  • Soften cream cheese and cut into chunks.

  • Slice chicken breasts horizontally, season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  • Heat butter and oil in skillet. Cook chicken 5–6 mins per side until golden and done. Remove from pan.

  • Sauté onion until soft; add garlic and cook 30 seconds.

  • Add chicken broth, cream cheese, seasoning, and pepper flakes. Stir until smooth.

  • Return chicken to skillet; simmer and heat through. Adjust seasoning.

  • Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Ensure cream cheese is very soft to avoid lumps in the sauce.

  • Chicken thighs can be used instead of breasts.

  • Add spinach or mushrooms for extra veggies.

  • To make it spicier, add more crushed red pepper.
