Ingredients
-
8 oz cream cheese (softened, cut into chunks)
 -
2 large chicken breasts (halved into 4 cutlets)
 -
½ tsp garlic powder
 -
Salt & pepper, to taste
 -
1 tbsp butter
 -
1 tbsp olive oil
 -
½ medium onion, chopped
 -
3 cloves garlic, minced
 -
¾ cup chicken broth
 -
½ tsp Italian seasoning
 -
¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
 -
Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions
-
Soften cream cheese and cut into chunks.
 -
Slice chicken breasts horizontally, season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
 -
Heat butter and oil in skillet. Cook chicken 5–6 mins per side until golden and done. Remove from pan.
 -
Sauté onion until soft; add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
 -
Add chicken broth, cream cheese, seasoning, and pepper flakes. Stir until smooth.
 -
Return chicken to skillet; simmer and heat through. Adjust seasoning.
 -
Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes
-
Ensure cream cheese is very soft to avoid lumps in the sauce.
 -
Chicken thighs can be used instead of breasts.
 -
Add spinach or mushrooms for extra veggies.
 -
To make it spicier, add more crushed red pepper.
 -
Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, pasta, or with crusty bread.
