– 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Optional: chopped spinach, mushrooms, or ground beef

Creating Cottage Cheese Lasagna is easy if you follow these simple steps:

1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Boil Noodles: Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
3. Mix Cheese Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
4. Prepare Baking Dish: Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
5. Layer Ingredients:
– Place three lasagna noodles on top of the sauce.
– Spread half of the cottage cheese mixture over the noodles.
– Sprinkle with a third of the mozzarella cheese.
– Add more marinara sauce over the cheese.
6. Repeat Layers: Follow the previous step to create another layer. Top with three more noodles, the remaining cottage cheese mixture, and another third of the mozzarella cheese, along with more marinara sauce.
