  • 2 tsp vanilla

  • Gel food coloring (various colors)

  • Colored sugar for coating

For the Marshmallow Filling:

Instructions

  • Make the Cookie Dough:

    • Cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and mix well.

    • Combine dry ingredients and wet ingredients separately, then gradually mix them together to form a smooth dough.

  • Color and Shape the Dough:

    • Divide dough into portions, add gel food coloring to each, and mix until evenly colored.

    • Roll dough into balls, coat them with colored sugar, and place them on a baking sheet.

  • Bake:

    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

    • Bake for 10-15 minutes depending on the size of the cookies. Let cool completely.

  • Prepare the Filling:
