Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe tomatoes, diced

  • ½ red onion, diced

  • 2 jalapeños, finely chopped (seeds removed for less heat)

  • 1 small bunch fresh cilantro, chopped

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • ½ avocado, diced (optional)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine diced tomatoes, onion, jalapeños, and cilantro.

  • Add minced garlic, fresh lime juice, salt, and pepper.

  • Stir gently until well combined.

  • Optional: Fold in diced avocado for a creamy variation.

  • Let salsa rest for 10 minutes to allow flavors to blend.

  • Serve with chips or as a topping.

Notes

  • Use fresh lime juice for best flavor.

  • Adjust heat by adding or removing jalapeño seeds.

  • Best enjoyed the same day, but lasts up to 3 days in the fridge.
