Description

These churros poppers are crispy, golden, and coated in sweet cinnamon sugar. This bite-sized version of traditional churros is perfect for snacking, parties, and dessert cravings!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  • Mix cinnamon and sugar for coating; set aside.
  • Heat water, sugar, salt, and oil until boiling. Remove from heat and stir in flour until a smooth dough forms.
  • Let dough cool, then roll into small balls.
  • Heat oil to 375°F (190°C) and fry dough balls until golden brown.
  • Drain on paper towels and roll in cinnamon-sugar while warm.

Notes

  • Fry in small batches for even cooking.
  • Best enjoyed fresh, but can be reheated in the oven at 400°F for 3-6 minutes.
  • Serve with chocolate, caramel, or Nutella dipping sauce.
